The life cycle of our hair, regardless of age or gender, consists of three phases:

• anagen (growth phase, lasts 1–10 years, on average 3–5 years, approximately 85–90% of hair is in this phase),
• catagen (dying phase, when hair stops growing and the hair bulb dies, lasts 2–3 weeks),
• telogen (hair shedding phase, lasts 3–5 months).

After completing the entire hair life cycle, the hair falls out and re-enters the anagen phase, starting to grow again. Hair loss is a natural phenomenon. We lose approximately 100 hairs daily, which is completely normal. If it is more, it is a signal from our body that something is not right.

KeraGuard – extract from Caesalpinia spinosa fruit and sunflower sprouts, protects hair from heat, urban pollution, and UV radiation, repairs chemically treated hair, prevents damage from chemical hair coloring and color fading, restores hair elasticity.

It has antioxidant properties comparable to vitamin C and is effective in protecting hair from pollutants, as demonstrated by clinical studies. Its radical-capturing properties were evaluated using the Radical Hair Protection Method (RHP), which is based on measuring the electron spin resonance (ESR) spectrum of melanin in human hair. UV radiation of hair creates free radicals, which are captured by the melanin polymer, leading to a reorganization of its electronic structure, emitting a different melanin signal. The increase in signal is directly proportional to the dose of UV radiation, i.e. oxidative hair damage. The results showed that KeraGuard significantly increased hair protection against UV radiation and exhibited antioxidant protection even after washing.

This method was also used to examine the degree of hair protection (or the degree of cuticle damage) during hair coloring and the protection of colored hair from fading/color loss after 12 washes of colored hair. Testing has shown that KeraGuard significantly reduces damage and extends the color of dyed hair.

Protection of hair from heat damage was also examined. The tested hair was subjected to eight cycles of heat damage caused by a hair straightener (Rowenta® Elite model Look) at a temperature of 200 °C for 1 minute and 30 seconds. The degree of hair damage was assessed using an electron microscope (FEI Quanta 400 FEG_ESEM/EDAX Pegasus X4M) at the beginning and after eight cycles of thermal damage. The results showed that KeraGuard effectively protects the hair cuticle from heat damage compared to a placebo. High-resolution images also showed a significant change in the hair surface before and after heating, and in the presence or absence of KeraGuard: after heating, placebo-treated hair lifted in some areas and cuticle damage and split ends were observed, while hair treated with KeraGuard was protected and the cuticle layer was smoother (not frayed).

Plant Keratin Complex is a blend of corn, wheat, and soy proteins. This is a plant-based vegan alternative to the classic keratin commonly used in hair cosmetics, replacing the original rice proteins in the formulation. Panthenol (provitamin B5) improves hair quality, increases shine, and reduces breakage.

Usage: The shampoo is intended for multiple uses. Gently massage it into wet hair, lather with your fingers, leave it on for a while, and rinse with water. You can also create foam by rubbing the shampoo in your palms, applying it to wet hair, and lathering with your fingers. If necessary, we recommend repeating the process. If you use styling products or are in a dusty environment, we recommend repeating the process. The shampoo is water-free and concentrated, so only a small amount is needed to create a rich lather. If you are unable to lather the shampoo in your hair sufficiently, your hair is probably not wet enough. Try to moisten them more. After use, it is not necessary to use acidic rinse agents because it is not a soap-based shampoo.

Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, irritated and broken skin. If shampoo gets into your eyes, rinse them with water. For external use only.
