Just a word of caution, as this oil contains coconut oil, it may solidify to semi-solid at temperatures below 24°C, or if cold enough, the entire contents may solidify. No worries, it has no effect on the quality of the product. Just put the bottle under warm water and voila, it returns to a fully liquid state.

The Monoi oil used in this product is of original high quality origin. The tiare (Tahitian gardenia) flower is macerated in coconut oil for at least 10 days to slowly infuse it with all the nutrients and intoxicating fragrance.

Note: It does not contain SPF, so layer on SPF when using in the sun for protection.

Storage:

As a general rule, avoid temperatures above 23 °C when storing and definitely protect it from direct sunlight. At high temperatures, oils turn rancid and lose their quality. You can usually tell that this has happened by the change in colour and also by the unpleasant smell.

Warning:

For external use only. However, do not use natural cosmetics on open wounds either. In case of eye contact, flush with lukewarm water from the inner corner to the outer corner for at least 15 minutes. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before rinsing. If irritation occurs, seek medical attention. Before the first use, it is recommended to perform the so-called. patch test, i.e. apply and test the cosmetic product for its tolerance on a small area of skin, preferably on the wrist, and wait 24 hours. This method can prevent the onset of allergic reactions and hypersensitivity to the product. If an allergic reaction occurs after application, wash the skin surface with lukewarm water.
