The decision to try to remove as much rubbish from our lives as possible came almost of its own accord, following our decision to minimise the things we surround ourselves with. I feel like it's kind of connected. So I would expand on the original question a little bit - Why do we want to have as few unnecessary things around us as possible, and why do we want to eliminate rubbish from our lives? The answer is simple - it makes us happier. You might be expecting something like we want to support the environment and make it better, sure we do, but everyone has to start with themselves - if something makes me happy, makes me feel better, then that's the best condition to stay with it and keep doing it. So why we do all this is because it makes us so happy and content, and the fact that we're also helping the environment, saving money etc. comes as a nice bonus with that.And what's your reason for deciding to remove rubbish from your life?
