Oil Pulling Method

The "Oil Pulling" method is becoming increasingly popular in the world. It is the oldest Ayurvedic method and is known to benefit our bodies. It is called oil pulling because it "pulls" bacteria, viruses and fungi out of the mouth.

What do you mean by that?

In this technique, a person puts one tablespoon of vegetable oil in his mouth and "rinses" his mouth with it for 10 to 20 minutes and then spits it out. In this way, the body gets rid of toxic waste and bacteria that have accumulated in our body overnight. Oil pulling should be practiced daily until the desired effects are achieved. This method benefits our entire body, not just the oral cavity.

Which oils to use?

Sesame oil is considered the best oil to perform this technique. But you can also use virgin olive oil or coconut oil. In addition, coconut oil has whitening effects. However, if you don't have either of these at home, any other vegetable oil can also serve. It's just important that it is unrefined, cold-pressed and ideally of organic quality. I use linseed or coconut oil.

How do we do that?

Oil pulling should be the first thing we do when we wake up in the morning, before breakfast and brushing our teeth. Take one tablespoon of oil and put it in your mouth. Roll the oil in your mouth through your teeth just like we do with mouthwash. After a few minutes, the oil in the mouth starts to have a watery consistency as it dilutes with our saliva. We pull, roll, roll through our teeth for about 20 minutes. Once the oil starts to turn whitish, milky and thinner, it's a sign that it's time to spit it out. The milky oil is a sign that all the toxins have been pulled out and that we've done the whole process the right way. After spitting out the oil, rinse your mouth with water and a little salt or our regular mouthwash. Initially we do this technique for at least 10 minutes and then when we become masters we can do it for 30 - 45 minutes. After practicing for a few days you will find that it is as easy as brushing your teeth.

Benefits

Everywhere on the internet you can read how many benefits this method brings. By ridding our body of bacteria, you will surely notice changes in yourself. And the added bonus will be brighter and whiter teeth.

Tips

  • taking only one tablespoon of oil and diluting it with saliva
  • after finishing this technique, rinse your mouth with water and salt
  • if your mouth hurts, it means you are putting too much pressure
  • never swallow oil
  • At first you may feel like vomiting, but hang in there, it's worth it :-)

This is not a disadvantage, but rather a recommendation - the QR code on the gift is illegible. It seems like a shame.
