Solid beard and shaving shampoo is a versatile product that provides perfect care for beards and skin during shaving. The gentle natural composition of the shampoo effectively cleanses the beard of impurities and styling product residues, while also hydrating and softening the beard for easier grooming. When used for shaving, it creates a foam that softens the skin and prepares it for a smooth and gentle shave without irritation.

All of our solid shampoos, including this one, can fully replace traditional liquid shampoos. They are gentler and do not contain aggressive surfactants that dry out and irritate the skin, such as SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), SLES (sodium laureth sulfate), silicones, or synthetic fragrances and dyes. Shampoos do not contain water, so they do not require the addition of traditional preservatives. They are fully and easily biodegradable and do not burden the environment.

These are so-called syndets – shampoos based on mild plant-based surfactants derived from coconut oil, not soap-based shampoos that require an acidic rinse.

Thanks to their gentle surfactants, they effectively remove dirt and grease from hair and scalp. They allow the shampoo to create a rich lather and are suitable for use in both soft and hard water.

Štramák contains a complex of plant keratin, which is a mixture of corn, wheat, and soy proteins. This is a plant-based vegan alternative to the classic keratin commonly used in hair cosmetics, which has replaced the original rice proteins in the formulation. Hydrolyzed proteins have smaller molecules that penetrate better into hair and, in this case, beards. In our body, they are among the key components often referred to as NMF (natural moisturizing factor). These compounds are responsible for maintaining skin moisture and elasticity by attracting and retaining water.

Thanks to the triple combination of plant proteins, this complex improves the hydration of hair and beard, strengthens their structure, and protects against drying out. Protects beard and skin from adverse external influences and increases strength and elasticity. Visibly improves beard quality.

Štramák is enriched with hydrolyzed oat protein, which mainly consists of proteins (avenin and globulins) and oligosaccharides. Thanks to them, oats have been used for centuries to soothe irritated skin. In addition, it is rich in vitamins, minerals, sugars, and other natural components that provide it with hydrating, anti-inflammatory, and soothing properties. Oat protein strengthens the skin's outer barrier, helps restore its function, maintains moisture, and reduces itching. Its anti-inflammatory properties effectively alleviate the unpleasant symptoms of eczema, especially atopic eczema. The hydrolyzed form is specially adapted for use in cosmetics because oat powder itself is insoluble in water and has large molecules, so its potential cannot be fully utilized in cosmetic products. At the same time, the hydrolyzed form is classified as gluten-free in the case of foods for which there is a limit for gluten. Cosmetic products do not have a set limit. 

Glycerin and castor oil prevent drying and retain moisture.

Panthenol (provitamin B5) improves the quality of hair and beard.

Rhassoul (Moroccan clay) plays several important roles in this shampoo, making it an ideal ingredient for skin and beard care. Helps gently cleanse – thanks to its natural adsorption properties, it removes excess oil. Helps soften the beard, makes styling easier, and improves comfort during shaving. Soothes irritation and redness that may occur during shaving. Gently removes dead skin cells, contributing to a smoother and more thorough shave.

Cetearyl alcohol-lecithin-sodium cetearyl sulfate-vegetable oil – a biodegradable plant-based emulsifier that facilitates hair detangling, reduces porosity, helps retain moisture in the hair, and prevents damage, dryness, breakage, and frizz. Creates a protective layer for mechanically, thermally, or chemically damaged hair and beard, while not weighing them down.

Usage: Lather the shampoo with your hands or a brush and apply the foam directly to the area you want to shave. You can let it sit for a while.

The shampoo is multifunctional. Simply massage it into wet hair, lather with your fingers, and rinse (just like with regular washing using liquid shampoo). You can also create foam by rubbing the shampoo in your palms, applying it to wet hair, and lathering with your fingers.

The shampoo is water-free and concentrated, so only a small amount is needed to create a rich lather.

If you are unable to lather the shampoo in your hair sufficiently, the hair is probably not wet enough. Try to moisten them more.

After use, it is not necessary to use acidic rinse agents because it is not a soap-based shampoo.

Storage

It is best to store natural cosmetics in a cooler and dry place.

After use, let the shampoo rest and then store it in a soap dish. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or frost. Sunlight can degrade it or shorten its expiration date. At the same time, when using cosmetics, follow hygiene recommendations, such as using a cosmetic spatula to scoop products from jars, always closing products after use, and keeping the edges of bottles clean. Keep out of reach of children.

However, do not use even natural cosmetics on open wounds. This product is not intended to diagnose, prevent, or treat any disease. In case of eye contact, rinse for at least 15 minutes with lukewarm water from the inner corner to the outer corner. In case you wear contact lenses, remove them before rinsing. If irritation occurs, seek medical advice. Before the first use, it is recommended to perform the so-called patch test, i.e. apply and test the cosmetic product for its tolerance on a small area of the skin, preferably on the wrist, and wait 24 hours.
