1. Follow a nutritious diet
Believe it or not, how your hair looks, grows and feels is primarily linked to the things you eat. Your hair roots need the right nutrition in order to produce the strong, healthy hair that grows from them. You can feed your hair roots with various hair vials - which is great! - but the main source of nutrition comes from within. To maintain healthy hair, eat a healthy and nutritious diet with plenty of protein, vitamins, minerals and healthy fats.
2. Always use hair conditioner
This is one of the most important hair beautification tips in the world. Always treat your hair with conditioner after shampooing. Conditioner will not only make your hair softer and shinier, but a well formulated conditioning treatment will also make it more flexible and thus less prone to breakage. Using conditioner also improves the overall appearance of your hair.
3. Choose chemical-free hair care

In addition, the silicones that are hidden in most commercial hair conditioners, conditioners and masks only fake the appearance of healthy hair - but over time, they cause a lot of damage.

Instead of silicones, choose hair masks that are infused with nourishing oils and plant extracts. It may take a while for your hair to get stronger, but it will actually heal instead of just masking the problem of dry, brittle or frizzy hair.

4. Be careful with hair dyes
If you dye your hair regularly, do you only colour the roots or the entire length of your hair? Hair dyes are notorious and used to make you look spectacular, but they also have a dark side. They can be very damaging to your hair and leave it porous and dry. If you must touch up your roots, touch up the roots and use a colour toning treatment on the rest of your hair. This way you'll retain as much moisture as possible and still look great! Alternatively, forget commercial dyes and go for henna dye mixes.

8. Dry your hair naturally whenever possible
This is one simple hair beauty tip that can give incredible results over time. Staying at home for a day or two? Do your hair a favor and let it air dry. Your hair may not look as conditioned and shiny as it does after blow-drying, but you'll avoid the dose of heat that evaporates moisture from your hair.

9. Take care of your scalp
Just as nutrition is essential for healthy roots, scalp care is important for hair. It's a great idea to use a scalp scrub once in a while and perform scalp treatments using different oils to make sure your scalp is healthy too. At the same time, you'll help prevent dandruff, minimize hair loss, and also promote hair growth!
