The carrier for retinol in the serum from Kvitok is olive squalane.

It helps to restore the skin's protective film, protects it from moisture loss, is easily absorbed, and is very stable against oxidation. It stimulates the renewal of skin cells and is hypoallergenic, making it a great choice for people with sensitive skin and a tendency to allergies. Olive squalane, unlike olive oil, is non-comedogenic and does not cause pore clogging. Therefore, it is a great carrier ingredient for retinol and is also suitable for sensitive and problematic skin.

Use: On cleansed, toned, and dry skin (!) Apply 2-3 drops of serum to the skin and massage into the skin. Use on the face, neck, décolleté, or lips. After absorption, always apply a facial cream according to your skin type. Use in the evening. Start using 1-2 times a week, after 2-3 weeks you can gradually increase the frequency and concentration.
Mild irritation, a feeling of drier skin, or peeling of "old" skin is a normal occurrence, but if it persists for a long time, reduce the concentration/frequency of use or stop using the serum altogether.

Important Notice

We recommend using SPF protection during the day while using this serum (and in general).

Not suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Retinol can increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight – limit sun exposure immediately after application and use appropriate protection. Do not combine with other exfoliating products and products containing retinol or other forms of vitamin A. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

Never start with the highest concentration. Otherwise, you are asking for an ugly reaction. The skin needs to get used to retinol first, and that can easily take up to 3 months.

If you use retinol only sporadically, you will unnecessarily irritate your skin and never reach the stage where retinol starts to bring the desired results.

Storage
