Soap with ichthammol (ichthyol) may not be very appealing due to its asphalt-like “smell,” but ichthammol has strong anti-inflammatory effects and helps treat acne, eczema, and other skin problems. It also contains sea buckthorn extract, which is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants and helps soften and protect the skin.

Ichthammol soap – as the name suggests – contains ichthammol (ichthyol, ammonium bituminosulfonate...) pharmaceutical grade. Ichthammol belongs to bituminous tars and, thanks to its antiseptic, antimicrobial, and antifungal effects, is often used to treat skin problems.

The second key ingredient of ichthammol soap is sea buckthorn oil, obtained through gentle and environmentally friendly CO₂ extraction from organic sea buckthorn. This oil is unique due to its composition; it contains a large amount of palmitoleic acid, also known as omega-7. Palmitoleic acid treats the skin, supports its regeneration, protects cell membranes, and prevents oxidation (skin aging).

The base consists of olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter, which ensure that the soap is not only functional but also pleasant for everyday use.

Use: Lather the soap in wet palms and apply the foam to the skin. Subsequently, rinse with clean water.

Storage

It is best to store natural cosmetics in a cooler and dry place.

Do not expose it to direct sunlight or frost. Sunlight can degrade it or shorten its expiration date. At the same time, when using cosmetics, follow hygiene recommendations, such as using a cosmetic spatula to scoop products from jars, always closing products after use, and keeping the edges of bottles clean. Keep out of reach of children.

However, do not use even natural cosmetics on open wounds. This product is not intended to diagnose, prevent, or treat any disease. In case of eye contact, rinse for at least 15 minutes with lukewarm water from the inner corner to the outer corner. In case you wear contact lenses, remove them before rinsing. If irritation occurs, seek medical advice. Before the first use, it is recommended to perform the so-called patch test, i.e. apply and test the cosmetic product for its tolerance on a small area of the skin, preferably on the wrist, and wait 24 hours. This method can prevent the onset of allergic reactions and hypersensitivity to the given product. If an allergic reaction occurs after application, wash the skin surface with lukewarm water. Stop using the product immediately. If the allergic reaction persists for an extended period, seek medical assistance.
