Origin and properties of the individual components

Calcium carbonate is one of the most abundant minerals on the planet. In this product we use calcium carbonate from the limestone layers of the Swabian Alps. The cleaning effect of calcium carbonate is aided by coconut oil derivatives and sugar wetting agents derived from coconut fat, starch and sugar, which further facilitate the release of oily impurities.

Biodegradation

Calcium carbonate is a natural mineral and does not need to be further degraded. In the process of manufacturing sugar wetting agent and coconut oil derivatives, the plant raw materials of starch, sugar and fat are extracted but the parts remain fully preserved in their natural structure. It is therefore easy for microorganisms to break down these components very quickly and completely.
