CARING BALM FOR SCARS WITH ST. JOHN'S WORT, ROSEHIP, AND CBD

During our lives, almost all of us will experience minor or major skin damage.

And it doesn't matter whether it's an injury, surgery, poorly healed chickenpox, or even acne. Each of us has a different ability to regenerate skin, which also changes throughout life. In general, however, we can say that if we want to achieve the best possible healing of the scar, its minimal visibility, and restore the skin's lost elasticity and sensitivity, then it is necessary to start with regular care early and with great patience.The scar develops over approximately 1.5-2 years and during this entire period, it makes sense to take good care of it.Therefore, start taking care of the scar and its surroundings as soon as possible when its condition allows you to (ideally right after the wound has healed, stitches have been removed, etc.).). Don't worry, it's nothing you can't handle. It is sufficient to keep it well hydrated, massaged, and lubricated, which will reduce skin tension that could potentially lead to the "spreading" of the scar, and prevent it from drying out. And last but not least, beware of the sun! Sun rays can cause hyperpigmentation (unwanted darkening) of the scar. Therefore, it is better to apply sunscreen to exposed scars.

We have experience that scars and the skin around them are often sensitive to touch or irritation.

Therefore, our Zorro admirer with an extra smooth texture will instantly melt under your touch, allowing you to perform the gentlest massage you need to support the quick and effective regeneration of scar tissue. When treating and massaging scars, it is necessary to touch them as gently as possible to avoid disrupting the healing processes of the scar, unnecessarily stretching it to the sides, and causing it to tear. The best way is to perform a gentle surface massage with the entire palms, moving the scar in all directions. At the same time, be careful not to pull the edges of the scar apart, but rather press them together. So the palm (or for smaller scars, place the pads of your fingers a few millimeters from the side of the scar, press down, and move the entire skin towards the scar (the skin along with the scar will wrinkle). Repeat the scars from different angles as long as you have time and strength. By proper treatment, you can prevent the development of hypertrophic scars, that is, their elevation and skin thickening.

The basis of Zorro the worshiper is wild-harvested shea butter, which is beautifully yellow, smooth, and creamy.

It is complemented by a strong St. John's wort macerate in olive oil, which even our grandmothers know is one of the most powerful natural remedies for treating scars.These two main ingredients form a harmonious whole with other oils, each of which has its irreplaceable place in the recipe. Castor oil helps active ingredients penetrate deeper into the skin, flaxseed and wheat oil support the skin for strong regeneration, and luxurious olive squalane restores skin elasticity. Other key components are CO₂ extracts, specifically from rosehip oil and calendula. Rosehip lightens scars, calendula with CBD strongly supports healing and improves the overall condition of the skin.

There is no miraculous ointment or cream that can rid you of scars. But with the right composition, along with your sensitive and regular care, it can restore a nice appearance, elasticity, and mobility to your damaged skin. We believe that our Zorro Admirer balm, with its composition and pleasant scent, will enhance your care ritual.

Usage: Apply the balm in a thin layer to clean and dry skin in the area you want to treat.

Use it only on healed scars (never rub it into open wounds). Perform a gentle, preferably pressure, massage 1-2 times a day.

Note: The balm contains St. John's wort and bergamot - these two substances are phototoxic, which means they increase the skin's sensitivity to the sun and can cause unwanted tanning. We therefore recommend not exposing balm-treated skin to the sun or tanning bed radiation. Exposed parts of the skin (e.g. face) therefore, it is better to treat it only in the evening, ideally before going to bed.

Newly vegan! The composition has been adjusted to be vegan and overall cleaner – preservatives contained in one of the ingredients have been removed. The manufacturing process was also adjusted, resulting in an even fluffier consistency and preventing the formation of lumps.

Storage

It is best to store natural cosmetics in a cooler and dry place.

Do not expose it to direct sunlight or frost. Sunlight can degrade it or shorten its expiration date. At the same time, when using cosmetics, follow hygiene recommendations, such as using a cosmetic spatula to scoop products from jars, always closing products after use, and keeping the edges of bottles clean. Keep out of reach of children.

For external use only. However, do not use even natural cosmetics on open wounds. This product is not intended to diagnose, prevent, or treat any disease. In case of eye contact, rinse for at least 15 minutes with lukewarm water from the inner corner to the outer corner. In case you wear contact lenses, remove them before rinsing. If irritation occurs, seek medical advice. Before the first use, it is recommended to perform the so-called patch test, i.e. apply and test the cosmetic product for its tolerance on a small area of the skin, preferably on the wrist, and wait 24 hours. This method can prevent the onset of allergic reactions and hypersensitivity to the given product. If an allergic reaction occurs after application, wash the skin surface with lukewarm water. Stop using the product immediately. If the allergic reaction persists for an extended period, seek medical assistance.

Shea Butter Natural LZS, BIO
It perfectly cares for sensitive skin, as its purest form obtained from the nuts of the Shea tree contains an extremely high content of nutrients, especially allantoin.

Allantoin significantly promotes healing and soothing of the skin.

Flaxseed Oil LZS
It is very rich in unsaturated fatty acids and other nutrients.

It therefore has excellent regenerative, nourishing, and also softening effects, especially on dry and flaky skin.

Wheat Germ Oil LZS
It is unique primarily due to its high content of vitamin E, which protects against premature aging.

It is ideal for dry and stressed skin, which it hydrates, nourishes, and protects.

Olive Oil LZS, BIO
One of the most well-known vegetable oils, found in almost every kitchen. It is packed with omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, which beautifully nourish, regenerate, and soothe the skin

Castor Oil LZS
Castor oil excels in healing effects, thanks to its very high content of ricinoleic acid, which is not found in any other oil. It is particularly suitable for dry and irritated skin.

Sunflower Oil LZS
In this case, it is not added specifically for its effects, but is part of one of the extracts, and there is a trace amount of it in the product.

Squalane
Dry squalane oil is obtained from olives by hydrogenation of naturally occurring squalene (squalene is naturally found in the skin, and its depletion is also one of the causes of skin aging).
Squalane has excellent moisturizing, regenerating, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties. It is non-irritating and non-comedogenic, making it suitable for all skin types.

Beeswax
We add it to the ointment for its excellent physical properties.

Beeswax ensures the ointment has the ideal consistency and pleasant spreadability, leaving a light protective film on the skin. We use wax that is certified for pharmaceutical purposes only, completely pure without any undesirable impurities, such as. paraffin.

CBD - extract from hemp (Cannabidiol) + Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
A very effective component of industrial hemp is cannabidiol (CBD), which has literally become a hit in recent years. It has proven healing effects on the skin, slows down its aging, accelerates healing, effectively reduces itching and redness. We use 10% CBD in the most suitable carrier oil (caprylis), which softens the skin.

Organic Calendula Extract
Calendula is our darling.

Fantastically soothes all kinds of irritation and redness, supports natural collagen production, and is also very well tolerated by sensitive and eczema-prone skin.

Extract from Tremella fuciformis (+ water + propanediol + Gluconolactone + calcium gluconate + sodium benzoate)
The edible fungus Tremella fuciformis is well-known and commonly used in traditional medicine in China and Japan.

It has countless unique properties and has a very positive effect on the healthy functioning of the organism. From a cosmetic perspective, it is particularly characterized by its extreme ability to bind water (up to 500 times its own volume) and significantly contribute to healthy skin hydration. In addition, it has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties, is very rich in minerals and vitamins, thus effectively nourishing the skin and contributing to its defense capabilities. The substance is certified by the international organization ECOCERT as completely safe and can be used in natural cosmetics.

Organic Rosemary Extract
A very strong antioxidant, in this case, it is present in trace amounts in the product as it is part of the used extracts.

Organic Rosehip Extract
A very beneficial oil with high regenerative and healing abilities, even in the deeper layers of the skin.

It can unify the skin tone (reduces hyperpigmentation), smooth out scars, and eliminate acne symptoms.
Note: Pure rosehip oil is deep orange to red and highly staining. We therefore use CO2 extract from rosehip, which contains less dye but is even richer in active ingredients.

For your interest: We primarily use plant extracts obtained through so-called. supercritical extraction using CO₂. And why? Because it is the purest and most effective. For this extraction, CO₂ compressed above its critical temperature (31 °C) is used, which in this state, due to its high density, is capable of dissolving and extracting up to 95% of active substances from plant material, which is multiple times more than conventional pressing. With this extraction method, the temperature is not unnecessarily increased, which would reduce the quality of the obtained substances, and no chemical substance is used that would leave any residues in the final product. The absolute maximum of active substances is thus obtained from the used plant in the most gentle way possible.

Macerate of St. John's Wort in Olive Oil
The beautiful red oil from the herb of St. John, also known as St. John's Wort, has been selected from a verified Czech source that guarantees us high quality.

St. John's wort contains approximately 150 active substances and has been a part of every herbal medicine cabinet for millennia. We chose it for its excellent abilities to heal wounds, regenerate skin, and prevent the formation of keloid scars.

Organic Bergamot Essential Oil
Bergamot is a refreshing citrus oil whose fragrance uplifts the spirit and has a positive effect on the psyche, bringing calmness.

It has antimicrobial effects and excellently stimulates blood circulation in the skin. Attention, it is phototoxic, i.e. that after applying it to the skin, do not expose it to the sun.

Geranium Essential Oil BIO
Geranium is a purely feminine oil, excellent for its harmonizing effects during times of hormonal imbalance.

Additionally, it has a regenerative effect on the skin, soothes it, and disinfects it. Helps with the healing of scars and burns. The scent of this oil is sweetly herbal and reminiscent of rose.

Helichrysum Essential Oil BIO
This precious essential oil with a honey-warm scent has strong regenerative and moisturizing effects and also acts against free radicals. Significantly enhances collagen production in cells, thereby helping to smooth wrinkles and firm the skin overall. Accelerates the absorption of swelling, bruises, and contusions.

Natural Vitamin E or Tocopherol
Vitamin E is a relatively strong antioxidant, helping the skin to deal with free radicals and energy from UV radiation.

In natural cosmetic products, it functions as a preservative due to this property, as it extends their shelf life. We use only the highest quality tocopherol, extracted from GMO-free sunflower oil.
