The facial mask consists of a water and oil phase, which are combined with a plant-based olive emulsifier and supplemented with active ingredients targeting specific issues.

The key active ingredients are clinically tested PoreAway, Phycosaccharide® ACG, Aquacteen, Infraguard, Prorevive Blemish Balm Complex, and PrebiulinAga.

PoreAway - extract from the resin of the Pistacia mastix tree. Clinical tests have shown that when applied twice daily for 28 days, it visibly reduces sebum production and pore size, also reduces skin shine, leaving the skin cleansed and mattified, and refined. It has anti-comedogenic and cleansing effects.

By reducing sebum production, it helps to reduce the formation of comedones and minimize pore size.

The effect was monitored in a clinical study on patients with enlarged pores, who had silicone impressions taken of the test areas before, after 14 days, and after 28 days of applying a cream containing 2% PoreAway and a placebo. The results were analyzed using the Primos 5 device.7. Improvement was observed in 95% of patients, with an increase of more than 6% compared to the baseline.
For comparison, macrophotographs were also taken before and after application to evaluate the anti-comedogenic and opacifying effect. The results showed a significant reduction in shine, sebum production, pore refinement, and a reduction in blackheads.

Phycosaccharide® ACG - hydrolyzed extract from seaweed combined with zinc sulfate helps eliminate skin problems associated with acne formation: excessive sebum production, bacterial spots, acne lesions, inflammation, and acne scars. PHYCOSACCHARIDE ACG reduces sebum production by 26% and also inhibits the growth of Propionobacterium acnes (P. acnes) by 70% and Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) by 36% when applied twice daily for 28 days, significantly reducing acne formation. In vitro tests have also shown that it accelerates healing by increasing keratinocyte production and reducing inflammation (reduction of inflammatory mediators = interleukins by 81%, prostaglandins by 46%, measured 24 hours after application).

In vivo studies demonstrate (20 volunteers aged 14 to 30 years with acne-prone skin, application twice daily for 28 days):

• after 4 days of application, skin calming and 6% reduction in inflammation.
• after 28 days of application, a 15% reduction in sebum production, a 3% reduction in comedones, a 3% reduction in microcysts, a 5% reduction in inflammatory sites.

Aquacacteen - extract from Opuntia mexicana cactus, soothes irritated skin, reduces redness and itching. Protects and strengthens the skin after UV exposure. Provides the skin with water-binding substances that ensure long-lasting hydration, firmer and more vital skin even after rinsing.

In a clinical study, shower gels with different concentrations of this active ingredient were tested, hydration was measured using a corneometer, and the results are shown in the graph below.

During one week, skin hydration increased by 16%.

The soothing effect on irritated skin was also monitored - both short-term and long-term, after shaving and also after exposure of the skin to SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate - surfactant). The redness of the skin was measured with a chromometer, and then a product containing 2% active ingredient was applied to the reddened skin. The results showed that Aquacacteen was able to significantly reduce redness 1 hour after shaving and also demonstrated a long-lasting soothing effect and faster skin recovery after exposure to SDS compared to the placebo.

Infraguard - extracts from Caesalpinia - Tara fruits and sunflower sprouts, has antioxidant properties comparable to vitamin C, provides protection to mitochondrial DNA and collagen from degradation due to sun and blue light exposure, thus preventing photoaging of the skin. It also protects against aging and inflammation caused by air pollution particles and strengthens the skin's defenses - the "antipollution" effect.

The clinical study tested the elasticity and protection against UV and IR radiation on the forearm skin exposed to excessive sunlight for 2-6 weeks during a summer vacation. Before and after the vacation, the volunteers' skin firmness, elasticity, TEWL (the skin's ability to retain hydration), and tissue density were measured using a reviscometer (DermaScan® C device). The results show that the Infraguard cream not only improved skin protection but also enhanced its quality compared to baseline conditions.

Another clinical study also demonstrated the ability to protect cells (keratinocytes and fibroblasts) from so-called. blue light - light from screens, televisions, tablets, mobile phones... Immediately after irradiating the cells for 120 minutes, the amount of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the cell was measured using a fluorogenic sensor. Infraguard helps prevent the formation of ROS after irradiation even at tested concentrations of 0.01-0.1%.

Prorevive Blemish Balm Complex, prebiotic fermented extract of white willow bark (plant-based salicylic acid) in sunflower oil, helps protect, hydrate, and improve skin condition. This active ingredient helps to initiate skin regeneration by strengthening cellular functions, improves epidermal integrity, and enhances skin barrier function.

Additionally, tests have shown that it increases collagen synthesis, which can improve skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

It also increases the rate of the cell renewal cycle and shows better hydration than glycerin and hyaluronic acid. Natural salicylates also inhibit the growth of S. aureus and P. acnes.

Clinical testing has shown that it is an effective moisturizing agent, improves cell renewal and skin barrier function, provides protection against UV damage, can help improve overall skin texture, has soothing effects, is a powerful antioxidant, and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

PrebiulinAga prebiotic complex, consisting of chicory inulin and agave , supports the formation of healthy microbial flora on the skin after washing, thereby improving its defense capabilities. It has been proven to support the formation of a microbiological film on our skin and prevent the occurrence of further infections. This natural prebiotic is composed of inulin derived from chicory root and gluco-oligosaccharides obtained through the enzymatic synthesis of natural sugars. Supports the growth of protective microorganisms, which help restore the microbial layer while pathogenic bacteria are eliminated, i.e. Their ratio is naturally balanced, and this helps prevent inflammatory reactions. Clinical studies show that it supports skin hydration (compared to a 0.1% concentration of hyaluronic acid, this complex hydrates faster and longer).

Aqueous phase:

Water is used in cosmetics as a carrier of active ingredients and constitutes the largest portion of the entire product. However, mostly only distilled or purified water is used. As is customary with our brand's products, we use only floral and herbal hydrosols containing the bioactive substances of the plants from which they are distilled. The water component of our products is therefore an active ingredient in itself with beneficial effects for our skin.

The base of the mask is organic mint floral water, which tones the skin, restores its natural pH, provides nutrients, and enhances the effectiveness of other treatments. It is suitable for oily and combination skin, helps eliminate acne formation, revitalizes tired skin, balances, cleanses, and restores skin tone. Tightens pores, relieves itching, eliminates excessive sweating.

Oil Phase:

Oil derivatives, commonly used in cosmetics, have a single task: to prevent transepidermal water loss. They contain no bioactive components and have zero beneficial substances for the skin. We have replaced this part of the product with cold-pressed vegetable oils containing essential fatty acids, which have truly beneficial effects on our skin. Therefore, the high oil content is extremely important to us. To support Slovak production, we have chosen high-quality virgin vegetable oils from Slovakia as carrier oils - in this case, hemp oil, which we have supplemented with high-quality organic oils to mutually enhance their effects. Oils nourish and protect the skin from transepidermal water loss, thereby supporting the maintenance of the skin's natural hydration.

Hemp oil - has regenerative and revitalizing effects, helps alleviate symptoms of atopic eczema, psoriasis, mycosis, inflamed and irritated skin.

Tamanu oil - is particularly known for its healing, disinfecting, and regenerating effects, it is suitable for extremely dry and cracked skin, softens it, regenerates and restores its elasticity, aids in the healing of wounds, fresh or old scars, and is very effective in treating skin diseases - psoriasis, eczema, fungal infections....

Moringa oil - the antioxidants and cytokinins (plant hormones that support cell renewal) contained in this oil help prevent skin tissue damage from free radicals and promote skin regeneration. The oil is suitable for dry and irritated skin.

Sunflower oil - is high in oleic acid, vitamin E, antioxidants, or linoleic acid, which enhances cell renewal, protects the skin from free radicals and external environmental influences such as UV radiation or pollution.

Other active ingredients:

Activated charcoal is a key component for thorough skin cleansing, supports the healing of inflammations, and reduces acne. Thanks to its excellent adsorption properties, it can bind a large amount of impurities - it is a powerful detoxifying agent even in small quantities. In our mask, we use activated charcoal, which is obtained by calcining coconut shells, resulting in charcoal with very fine pores that allow for even more effective adsorption of impurities on the surface.

Soy lecithin, which is non-genetically modified, has emollient properties, softens the skin, prevents its dehydration, and gives our creams a silky texture. The lipids that make up lecithin are very similar to the lipids found in the protective film that our skin naturally produces, making it suitable even for very sensitive skin.

Vitamin E supports skin healing, improves its elasticity, and thanks to its antioxidant effects, protects the skin from the negative impact of free radicals from the external environment.

Usage: Apply a thin layer of the mask to cleansed skin and leave it on for about 15-20 minutes. Rinse it with lukewarm water and continue treatment with products according to skin type. Use 2-3 times a week. Apply exclusively with a spatula or silicone brush from the Solution by Kvitok® collection, which will evenly spread the mask over the entire treated area of the skin. Do not apply it with fingers.

Do not expose it to direct sunlight or frost. Sunlight can degrade it or shorten its expiration date. At the same time, when using cosmetics, follow hygiene recommendations, such as using a cosmetic spatula to scoop products from jars, always closing products after use, and keeping the edges of bottles clean. In case of eye contact, rinse for at least 15 minutes with lukewarm water from the inner corner to the outer corner. In case you wear contact lenses, remove them before rinsing.
