The hydrating facial mask contains:

The facial mask consists of a water and oil phase, which are combined with a plant-based olive emulsifier and supplemented with active ingredients targeting specific issues.

The key active ingredients are clinically tested Aquacacteen, Infraguard, Prorevive Blemish Balm Complex, and PrebiulinAga.

Aquacacteen, an extract from the Opuntia mexicana cactus, soothes irritated skin, reduces redness and itching.

Protects and strengthens the skin after UV exposure. Provides the skin with water-binding substances that ensure long-lasting hydration, firmer and more vital skin even after rinsing.

In a clinical study, shower gels with different concentrations of this active ingredient were tested, hydration was measured using a corneometer, and the results are shown in the following graph. During one week, skin hydration increased by 16%.

The soothing effect on irritated skin was also monitored - both short-term and long-term, after shaving and also after exposure of the skin to SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate - surfactant). The redness of the skin was measured with a chromometer, and then a product containing 2% active ingredient was applied to the reddened skin. The results showed that Aquacacteen was able to significantly reduce redness 1 hour after shaving and also demonstrated a long-lasting soothing effect and faster skin recovery after exposure to SDS compared to the placebo.

Infraguard - extracts from Caesalpinia - Tara fruits and sunflower sprouts, exhibits antioxidant properties comparable to vitamin C, provides protection to mitochondrial DNA and collagen from degradation caused by sunlight and blue rays, thus preventing photoaging of the skin. It also protects against aging and inflammation caused by air pollution particles and strengthens the skin's defenses - the "antipollution" effect.

The clinical study tested the elasticity and protection against UV and IR radiation on the forearm skin exposed to excessive sunlight for 2-6 weeks during a summer vacation. Before and after the vacation, the volunteers' skin firmness, elasticity, TEWL (the skin's ability to retain hydration), and tissue density were measured using a reviscometer (DermaScan® C device). The results show that the Infraguard cream not only improved skin protection but also enhanced its quality compared to baseline conditions.

Another clinical study also demonstrated the ability to protect cells (keratinocytes and fibroblasts) from so-called. blue light - light from screens, televisions, tablets, mobile phones... Immediately after irradiating the cells for 120 minutes, the amount of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the cell was measured using a fluorogenic sensor. Infraguard helps prevent the formation of ROS after irradiation even at tested concentrations of 0.01-0.1%.

Prorevive Blemish Balm Complex, a prebiotic fermented extract of white willow bark (plant-based salicylic acid) in sunflower oil, helps protect, hydrate, and improve the condition of the skin. This active ingredient helps to initiate skin regeneration by strengthening cellular functions, improves epidermal integrity, and enhances skin barrier function.

Additionally, tests have shown that it increases collagen synthesis, which can improve skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

It also increases the rate of the cell renewal cycle and shows better hydration than glycerin and hyaluronic acid. Natural salicylates also inhibit the growth of S. bacteria. aureus and P. acnes.

Clinical testing has shown that it is an effective moisturizing agent, improves cell renewal and skin barrier function, provides protection against UV damage, can help improve overall skin texture, has soothing effects, is a powerful antioxidant, and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

PrebiulinAga prebiotic complex, which consists of chicory and agave inulin, supports the formation of healthy microbial flora on the skin after washing, thereby improving its defense capabilities. It has been proven to support the formation of a microbiological film on our skin and prevent the occurrence of further infections. This natural prebiotic is composed of inulin derived from chicory root and gluco-oligosaccharides obtained through the enzymatic synthesis of natural sugars. Supports the growth of protective microorganisms that help restore the microbial layer, while pathogenic bacteria are eliminated, i.e. Their ratio is naturally balanced, and this helps prevent inflammatory reactions. Clinical studies show that it supports skin hydration (compared to a 0.1% concentration of hyaluronic acid, this complex hydrates faster and longer).

Aqueous phase:

Water is used in cosmetics as a carrier of active ingredients and constitutes the largest portion of the entire product. However, mostly only distilled or purified water is used. As is customary with our brand's products, we use only floral and herbal hydrosols containing the bioactive substances of the plants from which they are distilled. The water component of our products is therefore an active ingredient in itself with beneficial effects for our skin.

The base of the mask consists of organic floral waters from lavender and Damask rose, which tone the skin, restore its natural pH, provide nutrients, and enhance the effectiveness of other treatments.

Organic damask rose flower water maintains the skin's pH, hydrates it, stimulates regenerative processes, and has anti-inflammatory effects.

Refreshes, soothes redness and allergic reactions of the skin.

Floral water from organic lavender tones the skin, restores its natural pH, provides nutrients, and enhances the effectiveness of further treatment.

This organic floral water has antiseptic and regenerative properties and is an excellent tonic suitable for all skin types. Cleanses, refreshes, and softens the skin, helps fight wrinkles, soothes redness, sunburn, itching, or other irritations.

Oil phase:

Oil derivatives, commonly used in cosmetics, have a single task: to prevent transepidermal water loss. They contain no bioactive components and have zero beneficial substances for the skin. We have replaced this part of the product with cold-pressed vegetable oils containing essential fatty acids, which have truly beneficial effects on our skin. Therefore, the high oil content is extremely important to us. To support Slovak production, we have chosen high-quality virgin plant oils from Slovakia as the base oils - poppy seed and sunflower, which we have complemented with high-quality organic oils to mutually enhance their effects. Oils nourish and protect the skin from transepidermal water loss, thereby supporting the maintenance of the skin's natural hydration.

Poppy Seed Oil - leaves the skin soft, supple, and elastic, and supports its regeneration, ideal for very dry and cracked skin, eczema, and skin inflammations.

Moringa oil - the antioxidants and cytokinins (plant hormones that support cell renewal) contained in this oil help prevent skin tissue damage from free radicals and promote skin regeneration. The oil is suitable for dry and irritated skin.

Strawberry oil - a great choice for aging, very dry, or damaged or sensitive skin, it is rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, soothes and softens the skin, has anti-inflammatory effects, and helps reduce damage caused by UV radiation.

Other active ingredients:

Hyaluronic acid is one of the fundamental building blocks of the skin. Hyaluronic acid is one of the fundamental components of hyaluronic acid, which is one of the basic elements of the skin. It is therefore ideal for ensuring skin hydration. However, with increasing age, it is lost from the skin, and as a result of this loss, the skin loses hydration, elasticity, firmness, becomes drier, and wrinkles appear. It is particularly effective for those aged 30-50 (depending on skin condition), but it cannot smooth out deep wrinkles. This mask uses high molecular weight HA, which acts on the surface and immediately improves hydration.

Plant collagen consists of glycoproteins from plant sources with properties similar to collagen that naturally occurs in the skin. Plant-based collagen is an ideal choice for softening, smoothing, and protecting all skin types, especially dry, dehydrated, and mature skin. Softens and smooths the skin.

Soy lecithin, which is non-genetically modified, has emollient properties, softens the skin, prevents dehydration, and gives our creams a silky texture. The lipids that make up lecithin are very similar to the lipids found in the protective film that our skin naturally produces, making it suitable even for very sensitive skin.

Vitamin E supports skin healing, improves its elasticity, and thanks to its antioxidant effects, protects the skin from the negative impact of free radicals from the external environment.

Usage: Apply a thin layer of the mask to cleansed skin and leave it on for about 15-20 minutes. Rinse it with lukewarm water and continue treatment with products according to skin type. Use 2-3 times a week. You can also use it as a night mask/overnight mask: At the end of your entire routine (after applying your face cream), apply a light layer of the mask, let it absorb, leave it on overnight, and continue with your regular morning routine in the morning. Use 2-3 times a week. Apply exclusively with a spatula or a silicone brush from the Solution by Kvitok® collection, which will evenly spread the mask over the entire treated area of the skin. Do not apply it with fingers.

Do not expose it to direct sunlight or frost. Sunlight can degrade it or shorten its expiration date. At the same time, when using cosmetics, follow hygiene recommendations, such as using a cosmetic spatula to scoop products from jars, always closing products after use, and keeping the edges of bottles clean. Keep out of reach of children.

However, do not use even natural cosmetics on open wounds. In case of eye contact, rinse for at least 15 minutes with lukewarm water from the inner corner to the outer corner. In case you wear contact lenses, remove them before rinsing. If irritation occurs, seek medical advice.
