Exfoliation and cleansing of the skin is a fundamental step in skincare. If you skip this step, further skincare is pointless. If the skin is not clean, it leads to clogged pores, inflammation, rashes, acne, slower skin regeneration, and reduced effectiveness of creams and other cosmetic products, as active ingredients cannot penetrate clogged pores.

Cleansing products SOLUTION by KVITOK® gently and carefully clean while not damaging the natural protective film of our skin, unlike soaps, surfactant cleaning agents (e.g. micellar waters) or products containing alcohol.

The base is organic lavender floral water, which tones the skin, restores its natural pH, provides nutrients, and enhances the effectiveness of further treatment. This organic floral water has antiseptic and regenerative properties and is an excellent tonic suitable for all skin types. Cleanses, refreshes, and softens the skin, helps fight wrinkles, soothes redness, sunburn, itching, or other irritations.

Skin cleansing is ensured by yucca extract originating from the desert areas of California and Mexico, which is rich in naturally occurring saponins, making it a perfect natural and gentle cleansing alternative to harsh surfactants or soaps.

Saponins are surfactants that effectively cleanse the skin. Their major advantage over "natural soap" (sodium or potassium salts of fatty acids) is their electrostatic neutrality. These saponins are considered non-ionic surfactants and are stable over a wide pH range, while soap is considered an anionic surfactant and has a high pH, which is much higher than the physiological pH of the skin, making it more aggressive when cleaning. The extract from yucca contains hundreds of steroidal saponins along with polyphenols, especially resveratrol and stilbenes, and has been used in Mexican folk medicine for centuries for its anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic effects.

A key component for deep cleansing and gentle exfoliation is white willow bark extract = plant-based salicylic acid.

It has been identified as part of the endogenous defense mechanisms of the white willow (Salix Alba) and protects it from pathogens. The bark of the white willow is a natural source of this acid, making it a suitable natural alternative to synthetic salicylic acid, which is used in many cosmetic products.

It is ideal for reducing inflammation, redness, and has antimicrobial effects.

It acts keratolytically, penetrates deep into the pores, and can effectively reduce blackheads. It is also suitable for mature skin care, reducing fine lines and pigmentation.

Clinical studies show that a 2% concentration (equivalent to a 1% concentration of synthetic salicylic acid, which was used for comparison at this concentration) can accelerate cell renewal by 26% (synthetic SA by 22%), and after 4 weeks of regular application, it improves skin firmness by 44% (synthetic SA by 32%). The effectiveness of both acids in inhibiting the growth of S. Aureus and P. Acnes, where the natural form once again proved to be more effective.

Given that the gel is a rinse-off product, the effectiveness of this ingredient is not as strong as in the case of leave-on products (creams, serums), exfoliation is only gentle and will only manifest with regular long-term use.

PrebiulinAga prebiotic complex, consisting of chicory and agave inulin, supports the formation of healthy microbial flora on the skin after washing, thereby improving its defense capabilities. It has been proven to support the formation of a microbiological film on our skin and prevent the occurrence of further infections. This natural prebiotic is composed of inulin derived from chicory root and gluco-oligosaccharides obtained through the enzymatic synthesis of natural sugars. Supports the growth of protective microorganisms that help restore the microbial layer, while pathogenic bacteria are eliminated, i.e. Their ratio is naturally balanced, and this helps prevent inflammatory reactions. Clinical studies show that it supports skin hydration (compared to a 0.1% concentration of hyaluronic acid, this complex hydrates faster and longer).

For better hydration, the gel is enriched with the clinically tested active ingredient Aquacacteen - an extract from the cactus Opuntia mexicana, which soothes irritated skin and reduces redness and itching.

Protects and strengthens the skin after UV exposure.

Provides the skin with water-binding substances that ensure long-lasting hydration, firmer and more vital skin even after rinsing.

In a clinical study, shower gels with different concentrations of this active ingredient were tested, hydration was measured using a corneometer, and the results are shown in the graph below.

Usage: Shake well before use.

Apply a small amount of gel (approximately 2-3 pumps) to cleansed and damp skin, massage thoroughly to capture impurities in the gel, and leave on for approximately 1 minute. Rinse with lukewarm water or wipe with a damp cotton pad. After cleansing, treat the skin with a toner, apply serum and face cream according to your skin type. Use in the morning and evening (the gel is suitable as a second cleansing step or a morning cleanser).
