My experience is that the shampoo does help with itching and can probably tame seborrhea, but we have very hard water at home and after washing this shampoo and then drying my hair, dry flakes appear on my scalp...i don't know if it's the shampoo or the water, but I'm pretty disappointed with the shampoo :(
