Soapnuts are the fruit of the Sapindus mukorossi tree, which is native to India. Its ripe fruits, soap nuts, are golden brown in colour, dry in the sun after harvesting and retain a slightly sticky consistency. Only their shells are used for washing, which contain valuable natural saponin that effectively cleans and disinfects the laundry during washing. Using soapnuts, you are guaranteed a natural and eco-friendly wash, gentle on materials and colours, which will keep your clothes much longer.
Use: Place a few shells in a cotton bag, which you put between the clothes in the washing machine and wash as usual. Suitable for any fabric. Ideal for normally soiled (especially coloured) laundry. For white linen and stains, add a tablespoon of salt directly to the stain. Washing bag not included. 0.5 kg of soap nuts will last for a family of 4 washing 2-3 times a week for about 6 months.

Soapnuts are excellent for washing at all temperatures (30 ° - 90 ° C, even on wool and silk). Terry towels will be pleasantly fluffy even without fabric softener. The saponin contained in them is not as aggressive as ordinary detergents and is therefore suitable for washing the laundry of allergy sufferers and small children. The nuts have a neutral natural scent, the laundry smells gently of them. You can also add a few drops of your favourite essential oil for a more intense scent. Suitable for septic tank.
Storage
Keep out of reach of children! Protect eyes. For external use only. If contact with eyes, wash with plenty of lukewarm water. Seek medical attention if problems persist.
